Following Jesus & Fulfilling the Great Commission

Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

What We Do

We are ALL about making disciples that make disciples.  We were not designed to live our spiritual life vicariously through a pastor or a priest.  We have been called into a loving, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.  He made it very clear that we are to teach others to walk in obedience to his teachings.  There is a problem…not many people have been discipled.  We fulfill the commission in 2 distinct yet complementary ways:

Life On Life

We walk alongside others during their spiritual journey helping teach, train and instruct in the teachings of Jesus Christ.  This is done one-on-one and sometimes in a group setting.  We help keep their eyes on Jesus, who is the One that calls people unto Himself  AND the Holy Spirit, whose job it is to lead, teach and guide in ALL spiritual truth and wisdom.

Church Culture

We also work with church leaders to teach and train a Leadership & Learning Team in what it is to be a disciple, how to disciple others and creating a culture of disciple-making in their Church.  This seems so odd…the one place that should know how to create disciples needing help.  The reality is that most Pastors and leaders do not have a picture of what a disciple looks like, they have not been discipled, nor did seminary teach then how to disciple others.  This is where we shine.  We LOVE working with other Church leaders to help fulfill the Great Commission in the body of Jesus Christ.
